TECHNICAL SUPPORT SERVICE In performing their professional duties, Registered Government Auditors (RGAs) may from time to time encounter technical issues / questions that cannot be resolved by consulting with professional colleagues, but that require more research and the involvement of experts. Most professional firms and the Auditor-General in particular have internal mechanisms and structures in place to which such technical issues / questions may be referred. Nevertheless, the Southern African Institute of Government Auditors (SAIGA), as a professional body, also offers its members (RGAs) a service whereby such issues / questions can be referred to the Institute and technical support provided.
